New Website (and blogs) 📜
Let's start with the most exciting change: we have a new website design! But it's not just a design change; we have completely changed our codebase to Next.js. This means everything is super snappy, including the blog you are reading right now.
Instant page loads should be the norm!
New Pricing 💲
We have had very simple pricing, but we discovered that simplicity can come at a cost (in our case, it was literally costly). We received feedback from users indicating that they sometimes only need one of our products and may not require a big plan with a lot of features.
That’s why we have split the pricing for our image and video products. You can now purchase each product independently, and they have their own pricing tiers that cater to a wide range of users.
Video Channels 📺
You can now launch your personalized video channels with your own videos in no time with Gumlet. Channels are simple to create and come with a beautiful UI to showcase your videos. Additionally, we have a well-built video page that ensures your users can watch your videos on any device easily.
Did we mention you can run them on your own domain?
Player Customisations 🖍️
You can now customize almost every aspect of our embedded player. Just head over to collection settings and edit everything from color to controls to logo and much more.
Vimeo, Google Drive and Dropbox Imports 📦
Importing content from Vimeo, GDrive, and Dropbox is now super easy. Simply click on the Upload Video button or the Import Videos option in the left sidebar and bring in your videos.
That's not all. We plan to add more imports, including S3 and others, to make migration easier in the near future.
oEmbed and embed.ly Support 🎞️
To embed videos on the web, oEmbed and embed.ly are pretty much the standards. Embed.ly's approval process was quite time-consuming, but we're happy to announce that Gumlet now supports both.
If you are putting up your videos on WordPress or Notion, responsive and great-looking embeds now work out of the box.
Creator Tools 💫
Chapter and CTA support: We have added YouTube-like chapter support so you can tag video chapters and enable your end-users to skip to the sections that are most relevant to them.
Subtitles: You can now easily generate and upload your own multilingual subtitles directly from our dashboard. While our APIs have supported this feature for a long time, it has finally landed on the dashboard.
FB / Google Pixel: You can now configure FB / Google pixel on collection settings, and we will automatically send all events to those destinations. Tracking video views and targeting ads is now super easy.

- New CDN - Switched everyone to Akamai for blazing-fast, buffer-free streaming
- Login Sessions - You can now see all your active Gumlet logins and terminate other sessions.
- Masked API keys - Keys can only be seen during creation now. If you lose your API key, it is best practice to create a new one.
- Webhook History - If you have webhooks enabled, you can now see the delivery history to debug for any potential issues.
